My kids and I found ourselves with a half hour to kill before an appointment so we stopped into this quiet cemetery to visit pioneer graves. I was photographing this gravestone when my daughter stepped into the shot. I was moved by the life and death contrast. It has become for me a poignant tribute to this little dead girl.
