Trilobite?
This is a living fossil, a type of shrimp similar to the 521 million year old trilobite. It lives in the middle of the Arizona desert. When there is no water, the adults die but the larva somehow survive entombed in the cement-like dry dirt. What better way to show off its weird features than to turn the image into a negative!
