These were the last attempts by nature to seed the area with a plethora of wishes. I was able to capture this just before the season ended for these "wisher wands", as they are known to me from my childhood. To blow on one of these and disperse all the seeds would mean my wish would be granted, but these were far too beautiful to pluck and use in this way.
