The woman facing the camera was camera shy... but with some encouragement her lover and I were able to get her on board to make this image. What I love about this photo is how true to the moment it remains. Studying this photo for the first time in some time I am immediately taken back to that very time and place. I can see the subject coming out of her shell. I can feel the strength of their bond.
