Trumpeter swan preens feathers
Trumpeter swan is shown preening feathers while seated beside pond in the marsh environment at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge in northwestern Ohio, adjacent to Lake Erie. Ottawa NWR and adjacent Magee Marsh provide crucial habitat to numerous species of migratory and resident birds.
