As a child we often feel that the world is safe and we can trust those around us to not do us any harm. As we get older we find out the ugly truth that the world is a darker, much more scarier place than we could have ever imagined. While there is beauty and kindness in this world, it tends to be overshadow by all the darkness. Educating our children in both is what we must do for our kids to be safe and to build a safer world for them.
