Tufted Puffin in the Salish Sea
This is an image of a Tufted Puffin swimming in the Salish Sea near Smith Island, just west of Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. The Tufted Puffin is a seabird that uses its wings to "fly" underwater when foraging for fish. The Tufted Puffins tend to have an interesting "look" with their eyes. They almost look like they have an "attitude" when being captured by a photo.
