Turtle Beach

A famous turtle nesting spot near the ruins of Tulum covered in seaweed. The problem of seaweed flared up in the past couple fo years as a result of climate change. Due to the warming of the seas seaweed or 'sargaso' started to spread in unprecedented amounts. The problem further intensifies when the said sargaso covers the beaches where the seaturtles usually go to lay their eggs.
