This caught our attention as we were driving through south Iceland. Upon closer inspection, we learned that it is the remains of a bridge that got damaged during a massive glacial flood caused by a volcanic eruption. There's something almost startling to see this twisted and now decorated metal jutting up in the middle of such stunning landscape.
