Twisted branches in the woods

Branches in wooded areas such as these become home to vines and other climbing plants. The vines will suffocate the branches and create these beautiful, gnarled pieces. I have seen many people use these as walking sticks, and I have memories of a grandparent keeping polished versions of these at home.
