"Two Old Friends" is a modern sculpture located at the foot of Kalta Minor's impressive cylindrical minaret. It depicts two elderly Uzbeks engaged in a cheerful conversation. The small stray cat seems unsure whether they are real people and has climbed up to get a closer look, or perhaps to ask for a treat.
