I photographed one of the most iconic piers of Seka Park from above a public open-air park, located in where I live Kocaeli a city shaped between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara. Once a paper factory, the site now carries a layered memory of production, transformation, and public use. Positioned between land and sea, the pier reveals the ironic relationship between nature and human intervention.
