The very rare sight of a nocturnal Sunda Pangolin, accidently occured while remodeling the long term enclosure in the rescue center. Many injured animals, that can not be released into the wild, are staying in the educational part of the Rescue center. Despite many options for environmental enrichment, the daily routine of those animals in captivity is different compared to nature.In this image, the Pangolin is exploring the camera lense.
