This was the first time that such a large field of sunflowers had been planted in the local area and it sparked a lot of interest. For one weekend it was open to the public with entry donations going to charity. This photo was taken during that weekend. It shows two women walking down a track through the field, they and the distant buildings give a sense of scale to the image.
