U-turn on the Seine
There are many kinds of boats on the River Seine in Paris, most gliding by at slow speed. This boat belonging to the Paris fire department was also in no hurry until the pilot suddenly revved his engine and swung sharply into a tight 180º turn, throwing up this high spray in its wake. Perhaps it was in response to some emergency but I never discovered the reason.
