This war bird is the "Warthog" or A-10 Thunderbolt, a close air support plane that you do not want to mess with. It is armed to the teeth with a powerful gatling gun and other heavy ordinance. There is no beauty to this plane and it flies slow. But it is well protected from enemy fire with only the loss of one craft while in combat. This is one historic weapon, to be retired sone, but the US will hang on to some of them because of its value.
