Art on the playa at Burning Man. BM started in San Fransisco in the '80s and has grown to 70,000 participants each year. It is unique in that the event is almost entirely participant generated. Nothing happens unless groups and individuals bring it, including major works of art, some of which go on to permanent placement in cities around the world.
