15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
unconquered fotress

After week of horrible weather I could finally go out and enjoy myself. My pick was Dunluce castle. I arrived bit late and I was in rush to find some nice spot. Couple of years ago I walked down to the bottom of the cliff but I thought it won't be safe there now. I walked to the right of the castle on the cliff. High tick grass was causing my headache as I couldn't get my tripod stabilised. I had to go really low to be able to take few shots. To be honest I didn't believe I got anything sharp but after I transferd it to my computer I saw it's actually not bad considering weather and shooting towrads sun.
