Aurora borealis or northern lights is one of the exciting things about living in the polar region during the polar night. In this photo some of the locals has gathered for a social get together in a Lavvo just out their city of Longyearbyen. Nature collaborated and put on an wonderful light show making it hard to decide between the warmth of the social gathering inside the tent and the natural beauty outside.
