21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Drone/Aerial
Under the stars
The photo shows coal heaps, which are popular objects in southern Poland. The machines and piles of shimmering coal remind me of spaceships among the stars, which gives an abstract impression when we realize what is really in the photo.
