It was a sunny day with clear blue skies and perfect underwater visibility during a research expedition to Papua New Guinea. We descended underneath the research vessel to explore the deep reefs of Papua New Guinea, as part of the CARIOCA project (Coral reef acclimatization to ocean acidification)
