Hermes Trismegisto, associated with the Egyptian deity Dyehuty and the Helenian God Hermes, described in the book Kybalion the seven hermetic laws (universal laws). One of the laws placed is, "as above, so below...as within, so without." The act of free diving proves this to be dramatically obvious. It is a meditative move that allows us to explore from the inside-out, to transition from the surface to the depths in a mystic endeavour of balance. Like a pendulum swinging in between the masculine and feminine. Between ying and yang. Between Earth and water to find that the extremes are always connected in existence.
