Underwater Observatory
Nature’s contrasting masterpiece unfolds in the Red Sea, where vibrant coral reefs thrive beneath the blazing sun, framed by stark desert mountains. This surreal convergence of colorful marine life and arid landscape epitomizes the coexistence of two strikingly different worlds. The Underwater Observatory—a unique structure built over 40 years ago along the coast of Eilat—was designed to let visitors explore the reef without getting wet. Over time, it has become an integral part of the seascape it celebrates and a lasting symbol of Eilat.
