unique visit to a waterfall you can walk behind in central Texas
while exploring central Texas in 2018, we were informed of a great spot to experience a walk behind a waterfall. after the rough 1/4 mile hike ends, you arrive at a small "beach" spot opening onto a cave-like space with a beautiful crystalline turquoise pool. the trail continues beneath the overhang and allows for traveling behind the falls. water from above leaches through the limestone and creates stalactite-like formations that add a bit of an other-worldly feel.
