This photograph is of a male peacock trying to attract a female peacock to be his mate. The male peacock show his tail feathers them and displayed them for his potential lover. At first the female acknowledged the call, however she did not seem to desire the courtship of this male, which is depicted in this image. I took this picture at the Bronx Zoo. I shot several frames of this interaction in an attempt to perfectly capture this moment.
