I wanted to capture the free spirit of a young woman, her face serene but her hair flying wild, creating a striking juxtaposition. I placed her on the Venice Beach skatepark, a place that I grew up and found myself constantly drawn to. The people in the background made me feel like they got to witness this beautiful moment of freedom in awe.
