“Untitled” was the first one I took for my ongoing series 'Seeking' in June/2020. The image is a self portrait taken while I was self isolation in Italy after receiving some distressing news. I was struggling with the concept of my own identity in isolation. I felt so detached from the things that used to define me to my very core, which gave me a bittersweet feeling of freedom - if I was so far away from what I used to be, did that mean I could become a better version of myself then?
