Urban Playground

Once the capital city, Dhaka had many open spaces and fields for children, but the spaces began to shrink with the onslaught of unplanned urbanization. Many of the playgrounds have disappeared once and for all as nobody bothers little to think about the children who are cloistered in small poorly lit and ventilated rooms of apartments and are virtually leading the life of a prisoner. Dhaka has turned into a concrete jungle due to rapid and unplanned urbanization.
