Rigging ready! The USS Constitution berthed at the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston MA is the Navy’s oldest serving vessel still on active duty. This locally beloved ship who has served and defended her Country, most notably in the war of 1812, remains undefeated. She, however, commands specialized skills and updates to maintain her historic build and performance. This picture shows the results of a recent refresh of her paint and complex 3 mast rigging that prepared her to go under sail as a key contributor to the July 4 th celebration in Boston.
