vegetation, here and there across the valley

This picture was taken during walking down from Schwarzsee to Zermatt, the skirts of Matterhorn. The vegetation changed dramatically depends on the height and place. On the side I walked, the major flora was pine-tree, but across the valley, some kinds of shrubs covered the surface of the soil containing rubble stones like patchwork.
