Venezuelan Troupial

This particular image captures the Venezuelan National Bird eyeing materials from an old birds nest. These birds don't make their own nests, they take over old birds nests and can be particularly violent about it at times. These birds have the blue streak behind the eyes. A tale-tell sign of a Venezuelan Troupial is the volume at which the male birds "sing" at. They are known for their loud, repetitive notes.
