This capture is of a Great Egret in it's natural environment. The time of year was approaching the mating season on the west coast of Florida, so the colors in the area of the Egret's eyes are a vivid lime green. With it's tail feathers ever so slightly fanned, it made a beautiful capture standing on the tree limb.
