“Burst of hope” As I looked up at the dark night sky I was amazed at the bright rays radiating out of Venus. To the right of Venus was a Waxing Crescent moon that was absolutely stunning. The combination was so beautiful. Two bright lights in the darkness. I noticed by the position of the moon over the tree tops that it wouldn’t be to long before moon set. I immediately ran into the house to grab my tripod and camera gear and started photographing. I was happy to have captured the rays of Venus and the detail of the moon.
