Bishop, California is a renowned rock climbing destination championed around the world for it's juggernaut granite boulders and stunning scenery. Here, a climber ascends a monzonite granite massif in the Buttermilks, a hillside of house-sized blocks at the roots of the Eastern Sierra Nevada.
