A woman crossing the broken embankment with her child to collect food distributed from the flood relief camp. According to report more than three hundred thousand homes were destroyed and the people directly were affected by the severe cyclone Yaas, as sea waters along the Bengal coast and rivers started swelling and breached embankments. Various farms were directly affected by the salt water reached in the farming areas. The cities narrowly escaped from the cyclone hit but remaining coastal areas are in severe condition.
