Zero and art photography have in common the quest for essence. Zero represents emptiness, the absence of any form. It can be interpreted as the search for simplicity and harmony. In art photography, we seek to capture the invisible, the intangible, through images. This requires great rigor and particular artistic sensitivity. As for martial performance, it is an expression of self-learning and self-control. It requires the diligent practice of techniques, mastery of body and mind, and the ability to focus on the present moment. Thus, these three themes may seem very different from each other, but they all involve a search for perfection and inner harmony. They invite deep reflection on human nature and our place in the world.
