View From Peyto Lake, Alberta, Canada
Peyto Lake is a bright turquoise glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park. The color apparently comes from tiny bits of rock that have been ground up by glacial movement. This image shows a small amount of the lake in the left foreground, and looks down the valley where water from the lake eventually ends up.
