This photo is more than just the beauty of Cape Cod at sunset but has a long history of American Lifestyle. It manifests the unrelenting spirit of America, collaboration among private and public groups, and marriage of finance, engineering and science. Without any of them I couldn't stand on top of the Bridge, built in 1933-35, taking a photo of the peacefully flowing canal, first constructed over one hundred years ago. The arch in the photo is the Cape Cod Canal Railway Bridge.
