This is an image of a T-shaped landbridge protruding from Hakata bay. We were biking the Shimanami Kaido bikeway from Onomichi to Imabari when we noticed this bay. We stopped by some Hakata salt ice cream when I noticed the landbridge. I had to check it out! The industrial cranes in the background adds a nice touch. It reflects the industrial underbelly that is ever-present in the natural beauty of the islands.
