View of Inverness lighthouse and delta at Point Reyes.

As my family and I are descending the stairs to reach the Inverness Point Reyes Lighthouse, I captured this majestic view of the lighthouse. The reason as to why the distance of picture of the lighthouse is from afar is due to me wanting to capture the minuteness of the man made structure when compared to the powerful mountain and the ocean. Although the lighthouse is at the center of the image, just like man tends to think that he's the center of the universe, an intense display of nature (steep hill and foamy delta) surrounds the lighthouse and takes the lead role in the image, in the same way that nature often reminds us ,through unexpected weather or natural disasters, who is really in control. Additionally, the delta formed by a river incoming into the pacific seems like a continuation of the mountain into the ocean, as if the stairs and the trail continued over the water.
