Not a juvenile form of the Great Blue Heron, this lovely Little Blue Heron is a different variety, smaller and sleeker. We often saw him accompanying his fishing cohort, the Great Blue, in our Sarasota 'hood. Unlike "Henry," our local Great Blue, he didn't look for food handouts.
