Village Jackfruit vendor
The sticky hot summer months in India are when the most delicious and intensely sweet fruits ripen. Jackfruit is by all accounts one of the most exotic fruits on the planet, with its rough and prickly exterior and soft yellow flesh. Eaten as a vegetable when unripe, and as a fruit when ripe, the Jackfruit is a staple among village folk.
