While walking around Palermo, I was drawn to a haunting sound. Following my ears, I turned into an alcove where a man was playing his violin. He sat on a stone bench under a crucifix, and his posture imitated the art above him. The music gently echoed in the courtyard, and I listened for quite a while. Even if I had not captured this moment with a photograph, I would remember it in my heart and mind.
