In Yangon on 07th Feb '2021, people assembled to protest against the Military coup which had began on the morning of 1st February 2021. People peacefully protested and chanted "We don't want Military dictatorship." There were tens of thousands of people demonstrating in Yangon and smaller demonstrations were also held in the Capital, Nay Pyi Taw and the country's second largest city, Mandalay. Military attempted to stop anti-coup rallies by imposing an internet shutdown.
