I have spent only 1 day wandering through the epic landscape of the Icelandic Highlands and it feels like this place would be suitable for a separate, thematic trip. I have barely touched the subject but it has so much potential. The whole area is filled with amazing craters and some of them are filled with turquoise color water which is very contrasty with the barren land.
