Vrindavan at Dusk
Reflections of a major temple in Vrindavan, India with flower petals strewn in the river, probably as part of a religious ceremony. Aarti was also taking place when I shot this image. It is a Hindu worship ritual, often performed at dusk, involving circulating an Aarti plate or lamp with a wick soaked in ghee, around a deity’s head while the congregation sign songs in praise of that deity
