21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Wait for it........
Got held up at work long than anticipated, while driving home a major cold front pushed through the region and watched lightning for the entire ride home. Arriving at the house I quickly setup the camera on the front porch and pointed in the direction of passing lightning. Crossed fingers in acquiring a shot and Mother Nature gave me a surprise.
