Kala Patthar in North Sikkim is a tourist place at a height of nearly 15,000 feet which boasts snow through out the year. Local people from villages down bring refreshments like snacks, tea, alcoholic beverages etc. for the tourists and make a livelihood. Here a local vendor is seen waiting in the snow for the customers before her makeshift shop.
