Waiting for Extiction

This was taken this past November in Churchill Manitoba Canada, were polar bears are gathering on the edge of the Hudson Bay waiting for it to freeze over so they can access the sea ice. This year the ice is coming very late forcing the bears to stay on land and depriving them of valuable time that they would normally have to search for seals out on the ice. While the bears wait for the cold to come in and fall change into winter, they wonder aimlessly along the shores of the Hudson looking for scraps to eat and conserving energy.
