Waiting for the Rain to Stop

I was in the Ecuadorian Amazon along the Pastaza River, visiting an Achuar community known as the Wachirpas. It had been a lovely day, but suddenly the weather turned, and it began to pour. Many of us took cover under one of the village's open-air homes to wait out the rain. This little girl was one of them.
